NRF: Retail’s Big Show 2008
by tyler
I decided to take a brief break from my series "Commerce in 2008." I will wrap up my predictions tomorrow.
Next week, the National Retail Federation is hosting their 97th annual convention & expo. As per usual, the event will be hosted in the Javits Center in New York. For anyone planning to attend, I invite you to stop by the Microsoft theatre at 1100 hours on Monday.
I will be presenting on the topic:
"Payment Security & Payment Diversity Should Not Cost a Bundle"
The speaking abstract is as follows: "Microsoft has partnered with IP Commerce to securely deliver diverse payment services to retailers. Learn how to expand payment options while reducing integration costs. Hear why the terms PCI, PA-DSS and QSA should not cause uneasiness within retail organizations, and how security compliance can be expedited through software solutions." As always, I encourage anyone to reach out to me if you will be at the event. I can be contacted via blog comment or the ":contact:" link at the top of this page. As always when at a tradeshow, I will devote the majority of next week to intriguing technology and business solutions that are presented at the show. More information about the conference can be located here.
